42dot seeks an Automotive MCU Security Engineer to design and develop security solutions for vehicle microcontrollers, protecting critical systems from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with automotive security standards. The role involves implementing secure boot, communication protocols, and diagnostic features for software-defined vehicles.
What you'll do
- Design and implement MCU-based security logic and diagnostic functionality
- Develop Secure Boot, Secure Communication, and Secure Diagnostics systems
- Enhance vehicle network security (CAN, Ethernet, etc.)
- Design and develop security features for in-vehicle systems
- Automate embedded system security testing

- Real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR)
- MCU and embedded software development
- Automotive network protocols (CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet)
- Cryptography fundamentals (AES, RSA, ECC, hashing)
- Security protocols and communication stacks (TLS, IPSec, MACsec, UDS, DoIP)
- JTAG/SWD debugging and hardware analysis
- Automotive cybersecurity development
