About this role
42dot, Hyundai's global software center, seeks a backend engineer to design and develop cloud infrastructure for a data service platform that integrates vehicle and autonomous driving data. You'll architect large-scale data streaming pipelines, build real-time ETL systems, and develop microservices using Spring Boot/WebFlux.
What you'll do
- Design and develop cloud servers for SDV vehicle data transmission and processing
- Design and implement Kafka-based large-scale data streaming pipelines
- Build and optimize real-time ETL pipelines for data collection, transformation, and loading
- Develop cloud-to-vehicle communication systems for real-time data synchronization
- Design and operate Spring Boot/WebFlux microservices
- Design service architecture and establish incident response systems for reliability and scalability
What they're looking for
- Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot or Spring WebFlux (3+ years)
- HTTP, REST API, and network protocols
- Concurrent programming and asynchronous patterns (Reactive, Coroutine, Async)
- Apache Kafka and message-based architecture
- SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- AWS and Kubernetes
- Stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink, Kafka Connect)
- IoT/vehicle communication protocols (MQTT, gRPC)
