Telematics System SW Engineer

About this role

42dot seeks a Telematics System Software Engineer to design and implement next-generation vehicle telematics architecture, managing network communication between in-vehicle and external systems. You'll architect software solutions that integrate OEM requirements with modem and processor capabilities while collaborating with tier suppliers.

What you'll do

• Design and implement next-generation telematics software architecture
• Design in-vehicle and external network structures with routing optimization
• Design, implement, and evaluate services for cellular and application processors
• Lead collaboration with tier suppliers to deliver stable telematics systems
• Implement reliable communication protocols across various vehicle controllers
• Maintain and update telematics specifications, handling design changes
