66degrees is seeking a Cloud Engineer for an 18-week remote contract to design, build, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure for enterprise clients. You'll lead infrastructure automation, implement DevOps practices, enforce security compliance, and collaborate across technical teams to optimize cloud environments.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement highly scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for automation
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines and guide DevOps methodology adoption across development teams
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA
  • Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for infrastructure health and availability
  • Lead backup, disaster recovery strategies, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
