Software Engineer II - Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Abnormal AI seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cell-based infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You'll own the full lifecycle of infrastructure provisioning, collaborate across teams to minimize operational overhead, and drive reliability improvements through automation and systemic fixes.

What you'll do

• Bootstrap new cells end-to-end with complete infrastructure setup and application stack deployment
• Maintain and evolve cell lifecycle tooling to make provisioning repeatable and reduce time-to-production
• Design and implement secure, cost-efficient infrastructure in multi-cloud environments
• Triage and resolve complex cross-layer issues while driving root cause fixes
• Participate in on-call rotation and identify systemic gaps for long-term reliability
• Reduce technical debt through automation and systemic improvements to deployment lifecycle
