Data Engineer

About this role

Abridge seeks a Data Engineer to build scalable data infrastructure supporting ML training and business analytics for an AI-powered healthcare platform. You'll design pipelines, optimize OLAP systems, and manage both structured and unstructured data at scale while collaborating with engineers, analysts, and product teams.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions for ML training and application feedback
• Design and manage OLAP databases, ETLs, and analytics tooling for business decisions
• Optimize data infrastructure for throughput, latency, and reliability
• Create data integrations and implement data quality frameworks
• Investigate and resolve data operations issues through monitoring and reporting
• Collaborate with frontend/backend engineers, product managers, and analysts

What they're looking for

• Data Engineering or Backend Engineering (5+ years)
• Python, Java, Scala, or similar programming language
• SQL proficiency
• Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Structured and unstructured data management
• Distributed systems and processing frameworks
• Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization
• Data modeling and documentation practices
