AWS Cloud Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services is hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer to design and build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in a DevSecOps environment for federal government clients. You'll lead infrastructure automation, container orchestration with EKS, and CI/CD pipelines while mentoring development teams on cloud best practices.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS environments with core services like VPC, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS
• Architect and operate containerized workloads using Amazon EKS with cluster management and security
• Implement security controls, encryption, and access management to meet DISA STIG compliance standards
• Provide cloud expertise to development teams and optimize their platform usage
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-native technologies to enhance efficiency
• Champion best practices in Git workflows and AI-assisted development tools

• AWS cloud engineering (7+ years)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Amazon EKS and Kubernetes

• CompTIA Security+ certification

• Configuration management tools like Ansible
