About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Systems Engineer to design, build, and manage secure cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure across multiple classification levels. This role combines hands-on technical implementation with architectural leadership, mentoring teams through cloud adoption while optimizing performance, security, and compliance.
What you'll do
- Design, provision, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure including VMs, storage, and networking components
- Automate deployment workflows using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environment performance and availability
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance across classification fabrics
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams on Azure services and standards
- Collaborate with development and IT operations on application deployment and maintenance
