Cloud Cost/Finance Ops Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cloud Cost/Finance Engineer to optimize cloud spending and governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments for federal clients. You'll balance technical cloud capabilities with financial oversight, serving as a bridge between cloud platform teams and application stakeholders while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Establish and enforce FinOps policies and best practices across multi-cloud platforms
• Optimize cloud commitments and pricing models (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans)
• Review cloud architectures for cost-effectiveness and identify efficiency improvements
• Build automation tools and scripts to detect cost anomalies and enforce governance
• Create dashboards and data visualizations to track financial and operational metrics
• Partner with development teams to refactor applications for improved cloud efficiency
