Cloud Engineer - Terraform + GitLab

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cloud Engineer to design and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform while building GitLab CI/CD pipelines for AWS environments. This hybrid role in Aberdeen, MD or Fort Belvoir, VA requires automating cloud resource provisioning, embedding security practices, and supporting cloud-native deployments.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with focus on modularity and reusability
• Architect and refine GitLab CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment workflows
• Embed security and compliance checks into deployment pipelines and enforce governance over infrastructure changes
• Automate custom tasks and API integrations using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
• Implement monitoring and resource tagging strategies to optimize cloud performance and control costs
• Support containerization and microservices deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
