Cloud Platform Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage secure Azure IaaS/PaaS infrastructure supporting Windows and RHEL systems for federal government missions. The role combines cloud engineering with operations using DevSecOps methodologies, requiring hands-on expertise in Azure platform management and compliance.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy Azure cloud-native components including availability zones, storage, networking, containerization, and disaster recovery solutions
• Manage Azure platform operations including identity, governance, monitoring, and resource administration
• Implement monitoring and logging through Azure Monitor with alerting, reporting, and dashboarding capabilities
• Execute Windows Server administration tasks including patching, backups, and system configuration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions and infrastructure
• Balance independent engineering work with operational ticketing tasks in an agile environment
