Cloud Systems Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cloud Systems Engineer to design and deploy AWS GovCloud infrastructure for U.S. federal government clients. You'll architect secure cloud solutions, manage Kubernetes clusters, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with defense security frameworks while supporting mission-critical operations.

What you'll do

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure architecture meeting mission and security requirements
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters with security controls, networking, and node configurations
• Establish GitOps workflows and integrate CI/CD pipelines for containerized application deployments
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and container observability platforms
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates (Terraform) and container manifests (Helm, Kubernetes)
• Automate routine tasks and create operational runbooks and troubleshooting documentation
