About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Custom Software Engineer to design and develop complex software solutions for defense and government clients in Huntsville, AL. You'll build full-stack applications with GUIs, databases, and visualization tools while collaborating across teams to deliver mission-critical systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and document custom software solutions across the full development lifecycle
• Build complex applications including graphical interfaces, visualization tools, SQL databases, and rule-based engines
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate use cases into implementable software requirements
• Perform software analysis including code reviews, risk assessment, and reliability evaluation
• Lead software testing, verification, and validation activities with end users
• Troubleshoot production deployment issues and assess requirement compliance
