About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and tools that handle diverse data types for federal government clients. You'll collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to transform raw data into enterprise-ready formats while maintaining documentation and best practices.
What you'll do
- Develop ETL pipelines and tools for ingesting, extracting, and transforming structured and unstructured data
- Manage data movement between repositories using approved methods and store data at local or enterprise levels
- Design and implement data models in collaboration with Data Scientists to meet mission objectives
- Optimize query performance and handle large-volume bulk data processing efficiently
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL code following established standards and best practices
- Create comprehensive documentation including ETL mappings, code guides, and access instructions
