Data Engineer Specialist

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a senior Data Engineer to design and maintain critical data pipelines for DoD-wide platforms. You'll build scalable ETL/ELT solutions, implement automation and monitoring, and mentor junior engineers while working in a secure federal environment.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for new and existing data sources
• Implement and optimize pipelines using Databricks Delta Live Tables and modular patterns
• Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks for pipeline reliability
• Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform for consistent deployments and CI/CD
• Analyze complex source data and collaborate with stakeholders on transformation design
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and troubleshoot complex pipeline issues
