About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a GenAI Platform Engineer to build and operationalize production-grade AI systems for federal government missions. You'll design reliable, secure, and cost-efficient LLM/RAG platforms with enterprise-grade observability, guardrails, and compliance controls for defense, national security, and civilian agencies.

What you'll do

  • Deploy and harden LLM/RAG services with mission data grounding and low hallucination rates
  • Implement governance controls including prompt management, policy filtering, role-based access, and audit trails
  • Define and track SLIs/SLOs for quality, latency, safety, and cost; run on-call support and incident response
  • Optimize performance through caching, batching, autoscaling, and FinOps cost management
  • Build reusable platform components like SDKs, CI/CD templates, and infrastructure-as-code modules
  • Evaluate and improve retrieval quality, helpfulness, and safety using offline/online testing
