About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced GIS Developer to design, build, and maintain ArcGIS Online dashboards, web-based GIS applications, and geospatial visualization tools supporting federal public safety and coverage reinvestment programs. The role combines GIS technical expertise with JavaScript web development to create responsive mapping solutions and operational dashboards for nationwide initiatives.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain ArcGIS Online dashboards, map services, web layers, and reporting tools
- Design web-based GIS applications using JavaScript frameworks (ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers)
- Import, process, and validate large geospatial datasets while ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards
- Analyze crowdsourced geospatial data to support investment decisions and area-of-interest analysis
- Create geospatial products including maps, dashboards, layers, and documentation meeting FirstNet Authority requirements
- Maintain repository structures and AGOL content organization for cross-team access and retrieval
