About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design and build custom SAP solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and modern artifacts like CDS views and OData services for federal government clients. The role encompasses the full development lifecycle from coding and unit testing through production support and knowledge transfer in a complex enterprise environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop SAP RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows
- Build CDS views, OData services, and RAP-based applications following modern SAP standards
- Conduct unit testing, create technical documentation, and prepare transport materials
- Debug issues, optimize performance, and resolve defects across custom developments
- Support SIT/UAT testing cycles, cutover smoke testing, and production issue triage
- Provide knowledge transfer and maintain technical specifications for ongoing operations
