Security Engineer (ISSE)

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Security Engineer (ISSE) to advance AI adoption in federal environments by implementing zero trust architectures, AI governance frameworks, and security controls for mission-critical applications. The role involves integrating identity management, runtime policy enforcement, and compliance processes while collaborating with DevSecOps and platform engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and enforce zero trust architectures and classification-aware access control for mission-critical AI applications
• Integrate identity and access management solutions like Keycloak to support secure AI adoption
• Support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for AI platforms
• Implement runtime policy enforcement using Open Policy Agent and manage continuous monitoring via XACTA or eMASS
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, data engineering, and platform engineering teams on secure software delivery
• Integrate AI governance frameworks and cybersecurity controls into enterprise security and compliance workflows
