About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a SharePoint Migration Systems Engineer to lead transitions from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online for federal government clients. The role combines migration execution, modernization planning, and Power Platform development to ensure seamless content and workflow transfers while enhancing business processes.
What you'll do
- Execute SharePoint migrations using tools like ShareGate and Migration Manager, diagnosing and resolving throttling, permissions, and compatibility issues
- Convert legacy SharePoint customizations and workflows into modern solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Framework
- Develop and deploy Power Apps and Power Automate flows connected to SharePoint data sources with governance-aligned best practices
- Create custom PowerShell scripts (PnP, Microsoft Graph, CSOM) to automate migration tasks, reporting, and site provisioning
- Configure modern SharePoint sites, information architecture, and permissions while advising on content cleanup and metadata enrichment
- Collaborate with project managers and business users on requirements, training, and post-migration support
