About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced full-stack developer to maintain and enhance the CMS Health Insurance Oversight System (HIOS) for federal clients. You'll work across legacy and modern components in a production environment, balancing operational stability with incremental modernization using Java, Spring, React/Angular, and PostgreSQL.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain secure production software across full-stack components
- Develop and support Java/Spring backend services, APIs, and database integrations
- Build and enhance React or Angular-based user interfaces
- Diagnose and resolve complex application, integration, data, and performance issues in production
- Write and optimize SQL queries and data-access components using PostgreSQL
- Support legacy systems while contributing to modernization and code quality improvements
