Software Engineer

About this role

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop distributed backend microservices and APIs supporting enterprise AI operations for federal government clients. You'll work with modern cloud-native technologies in a mission-focused environment spanning defense, national security, and civilian agencies.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and distributed systems for enterprise AI operations
• Build and optimize APIs and event-driven architectures for scalable data flow
• Develop Kubernetes-native and cloud-native applications for production deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate AI adoption using Hub-and-Spoke architecture
• Implement continuous monitoring and scalable software delivery pipelines
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance standards across backend services
