Backend JVM Software Engineer | L3

About this role

Addi seeks an experienced Backend JVM Engineer (L3) to join the Lending team in Colombia, designing and maintaining scalable financial solutions for payments and lending products. You'll take end-to-end ownership of backend services, collaborating across teams to enhance system reliability and user transaction experiences.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions on the JVM stack
• Take full ownership of software from design through production deployment and operation
• Develop comprehensive unit, component, integration, and automation tests
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on feature integration and system improvements
• Review code daily and mentor team members on technical knowledge
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to Architecture Decision Records
