About this role
Advanced Space seeks a Systems Engineer (2–5 years) to support lunar and deep-space missions across the full engineering lifecycle—from requirements and architecture through integration, test, and operations. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on real, flight-ready spacecraft systems including GNC, ADCS, propulsion, power, and communications.
What you'll do
- Support mission formulation, system architecture, and requirements development for space missions
- Develop, document, and manage system requirements; contribute to verification and validation strategies
- Develop test plans and procedures; participate in integration and system testing; document results
- Conduct technical trade studies and subsystem design activities across spacecraft domains
- Support mission operations planning and customer-facing technical deliverables
- Participate in program reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR milestones
