Regional Maintenance Reliability Engineer

About this role

ATS seeks a Regional Maintenance Reliability Engineer to support multiple Midwest and East Coast manufacturing facilities, driving reliability improvements through engineered solutions and predictive maintenance strategies. This remote role requires 50% travel and demands expertise in reliability-centered maintenance, failure analysis, and precision diagnostic technologies.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement engineered reliability solutions and capital expenditure strategies across multiple customer sites
• Champion reliability culture by applying predictive, preventative, and precision maintenance technologies to minimize equipment failures
• Perform root cause analysis, failure mode effects analysis, and fault tree analysis while training maintenance teams on these methodologies
• Oversee equipment-specific maintenance plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Mentor teams on Work Execution Management gaps and improvements identified through reliability strategy sessions
• Collaborate with leadership to align customer and ATS key performance indicators

What they're looking for

• Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA)
• Predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and machine health monitoring
• Root cause analysis and fault tree analysis
• Vibration I and Infrared I certified
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Work Execution Management coaching and mentoring
• Data analysis, problem-solving, and technical writing
• Leadership and cross-functional team collaboration
