IT Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Adventus seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage comprehensive IT documentation and support infrastructure operations in Manila. The role focuses on creating and maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, and compliance materials while collaborating with IT teams to ensure accurate knowledge management aligned with ITIL and ISO standards.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and govern centralized IT documentation covering infrastructure systems, configurations, and asset inventories
• Create and update SOPs, runbooks, technical guides, and architecture diagrams for IT infrastructure components
• Establish documentation standards, templates, and version control practices across the IT team
• Support infrastructure operations including server and equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance documentation
• Ensure IT documentation complies with ITIL frameworks, ISO 27001, and supports internal/external audits
• Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and security teams to gather and translate technical information

• Technical documentation and knowledge management tools
• Diagramming tools (Microsoft Visio, draw.io, or Lucidchart)
• Understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, virtualization, storage, cloud services)
• ITSM processes (change management, incident management, asset management)
• Fluent English communication, written and verbal
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Attention to detail and information organization
