About this role
Adyen seeks an Implementation Engineer in Chicago to lead technical integrations for major merchants across payment solutions like POS systems, e-commerce, and card issuing. You'll serve as the primary technical contact, guiding customers through design, development, testing, and launch while collaborating across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable payment integrations for enterprise merchants across POS, e-commerce, and marketplace platforms
- Lead pre-sales technical consultations and serve as primary contact for merchant technical teams throughout project lifecycle
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide pragmatic solutions to cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful merchant implementations
- Optimize payment solutions including checkout experiences, authentication, and omni-channel payments
- Oversee project delivery quality and ensure adherence to payment best practices
