Junior Software Engineer - Internship

About this role

Aechelon Technology seeks sophomore or junior Computer Science/Engineering students for a summer internship on their 3D graphics software engineering team. You'll develop and enhance pC-Nova, a flagship visual simulation application, under mentor guidance while contributing directly to production-level software.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with 3D Graphics Software Engineering team to develop and enhance pC-Nova visual simulation application
• Work with dedicated mentor to design and implement new technologies for product improvement
• Contribute to production-level software with direct impact on company products and user experience
• Participate in core graphics software development projects

What they're looking for

• C or C++ programming
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fast, efficient code development
• 3D graphics or rendering experience (OpenGL, Direct3D, Unreal, Unity)
• Real-time systems or GPGPU development (CUDA, OpenCL)
• Version control and configuration management (Perforce)
• Scripting languages (Python, bash, JavaScript)
• Ability to work with export-controlled technology
