Aeva seeks a Verification and Validation Engineer to test and ensure quality of its advanced 4D LiDAR sensors used in autonomous vehicles and robotics. The role combines hands-on testing, data analysis, and test automation for a silicon photonics-based sensing platform.
What you'll do
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for LiDAR sensor functionality and performance
- Build automated test solutions and validation frameworks for complex perception systems
- Analyze sensor data and performance metrics to identify defects and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate product specifications
- Document test results and generate quality assurance reports
- Troubleshoot and debug sensor performance issues in real-world conditions
