About this role
A rapidly growing manufacturing organization seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer 3 to optimize production processes, systems, and operations. This role encompasses MRP system management, process development, tooling design, and workflow efficiency improvements in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes across supply chain and business systems
- Develop manufacturing processes by researching methods and collaborating with equipment vendors
- Design and implement production floor tooling and equipment layouts
- Analyze workflow and space requirements to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Create testing protocols and work instructions to ensure product and process quality
- Calculate production costs and prepare analytical reports on manufacturing trends
What they're looking for
- CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks preferred) and manufacturing simulation tools
- MRP system experience
- Mechanical and electrical drawing interpretation
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Regulatory compliance knowledge (FAA, AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-610/620)
- Written and verbal communication
- Independent decision-making and team collaboration
- Flexibility and proactive initiative
