Software Engineering Technician

About this role

Support and enhance internal software tools used across production, testing, and field operations in a hands-on engineering role. This position involves bug fixes, troubleshooting Linux-based systems, modifying backend and frontend code, and ensuring reliability of hardware-connected software solutions.

What you'll do

• Maintain and improve internal software tools for production and device support
• Implement bug fixes, updates, and workflow improvements across the software stack
• Troubleshoot issues reported by production, engineering, and field service teams
• Debug Linux environments including services, permissions, logs, and installation scripts
• Modify Python backend code, shell scripts, and frontend components as needed
• Document changes, test results, and support release preparation activities
