Special Projects Project Engineer - China Lake

About this role

Lead flight test engineering efforts for Predator/Reaper unmanned aircraft systems at China Lake, managing test planning, execution, data analysis, and coordination with Air Force agencies and contractors. This role requires expertise in UAS development, DoD acquisition processes, and aircraft systems to oversee special projects from conception through completion.

What you'll do

• Conduct flight test planning, operations, data collection, and analysis for Predator/Reaper development
• Author and review test plans and safety packages with Air Force and contractor teams
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and interface with test agencies to support approvals and scheduling
• Review modification packages for air vehicles, ground control stations, and support equipment
• Facilitate scheduling of test resources and support long-term flight test activity planning
• Assess test data and provide recommendations to program managers on priorities and resource constraints
