About this role
Senior systems engineer role focused on developing, integrating, and testing Unmanned Aerial Systems with emphasis on propulsion systems, subsystem compatibility, and aerospace compliance. The position requires hands-on technical expertise in electrical design, RF testing, and cross-functional collaboration across three U.S. locations.
What you'll do
- Design and execute UAS subsystem integration plans spanning mechanical, electrical, and software components
- Lead propulsion system requirements, interfaces, and verification for jet and RATO-equipped platforms
- Conduct electrical benchtop tests including power distribution, signal integrity, and RF antenna performance
- Execute environmental, functional, and stress testing per aerospace standards (MIL-STD, DO-160)
- Support ground and flight test planning while identifying and resolving integration issues
- Prepare technical documentation including test procedures, reports, and certification compliance materials

- Circuit board design (Altium, Eagle schematic capture and PCB layout)
- Electrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)
- RF principles and antenna performance testing
