Mechanical Engineer

A neuroscience-focused startup developing haptic wearable technology seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support hardware integration, assembly, and packaging for innovative spatial computing devices. You'll apply CAD expertise and manufacturing knowledge to develop reliable, consumer-grade wearable solutions in a collaborative startup environment.

What you'll do

• Design densely packaged consumer electronics using 3D CAD (NX or Solidworks) including PCBs, flexes, antennas, enclosures, and mechanisms
• Build and evaluate prototypes to validate design concepts quickly and effectively
• Support hardware assembly, integration, and packaging across mechanical systems and products
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on design intent and system integration
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to resolve mechanical and integration issues
• Maintain engineering documentation including drawings, reports, procedures, and specifications
