Full-Stack Software Engineer

About this role

8am seeks a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their new Brno R&D hub, building scalable web applications and AI-powered features for a platform serving 250,000+ professionals. You'll work across modern backend and frontend technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance products.

What you'll do

• Design and build web applications using modern frameworks like Rails, Node.js, or React
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services supporting product features
• Create reusable frontend components and maintain shared UI libraries
• Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with product, design, DevOps, and QA teams on feature delivery and deployments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• Full-stack web development (backend and frontend)
