About this role

Affirm seeks a Credit Analytics Analyst II to optimize credit strategies and build risk models that balance growth with portfolio resilience. You'll work cross-functionally across Machine Learning, Product, Engineering, and Compliance to develop underwriting frameworks, monitor portfolio performance, and ensure regulatory alignment in the fintech lending space.

What you'll do

  • Develop advanced analytics and optimize credit strategies across products and geographies
  • Partner with Engineering to design and build scalable risk models and credit capabilities
  • Monitor portfolio performance and macroeconomic trends; adjust underwriting and marketing strategies proactively
  • Collaborate with Product, Legal, and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into credit policy recommendations
  • Oversee credit underwriting framework development balancing growth, compliance, and risk mitigation
  • Drive cross-functional discussions for new product launches and market entries aligned with risk appetite
