About this role
Affirm seeks a Full Stack Fraud Analytics Analyst to develop and optimize fraud prevention strategies using data-driven insights. You'll collaborate across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to build fraud detection frameworks, manage ML model thresholds, and drive experimentation to improve conversion rates while reducing fraud losses.
What you'll do
- Explore data to identify product improvement opportunities and optimize fraud strategies through online experimentation
- Translate analytical findings into business logic recommendations to improve conversion and fraud rates
- Develop scalable frameworks for managing tiered cutoffs on proprietary fraud ML models
- Evaluate new data sources and partner with data engineering to maintain analytical data pipelines
- Own end-to-end analytics workflows including metrics definition, dashboards, and reporting
- Collaborate with ML, Product, and Engineering teams on fraud and identity verification strategies
