Software Engineer, Early Career

About this role

Affirm is seeking recent computer science graduates for a one-year hybrid early career program in San Francisco or New York, where you'll develop software solutions alongside experienced mentors while working 3 days per week in-office. You'll contribute to fintech projects that make consumer credit more transparent and accessible.

What you'll do

• Contribute to team projects and goals with mentorship support
• Write clear, well-tested, and maintainable code across multiple software components
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to communicate risks and trade-offs
• Navigate large codebases, debug code, and participate in code reviews
• Balance speed and quality to meet business goals while maintaining system stability
• Engage in growth and development activities to build team community
