About this role

Agate Software seeks a Software Developer II to build and enhance grant management solutions for government agencies and nonprofits. This hybrid role involves full-stack development with a focus on SQL and backend services, operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where you'll take ownership of features from conception to completion.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain full-stack features across backend services, middle tier, and front-end components
• Write and optimize SQL queries and manage database-driven systems
• Take ownership of technical decisions and drive work to completion with minimal oversight
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile delivery model
• Improve and evolve the mission-critical grant management product
• Contribute to code quality and continuous improvement initiatives
