Audio Visual Engineer

About this role

AGE Solutions seeks an experienced Audio Visual Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise AV systems supporting high-level government and military conference spaces in San Diego and surrounding zones. This role requires extensive travel, classified environment clearance, and expertise with industry-standard AV platforms in a mission-critical setting.

What you'll do

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot AV cables, connectors, and hardware across multiple client sites
• Design and build AV racks to specification; deploy full room AV systems including displays, screens, and speakers
• Lead AV projects and serve as primary technical contact for SES and Military Officer meeting spaces
• Provide field support across assigned zones with travel as needed, including OCONUS locations
• Diagnose and resolve AV/VTC system issues under pressure; document troubleshooting via ticketing systems
• Support classified Enterprise JWICS installations and internet-based video conferencing solutions

What they're looking for

• AV installation, wiring, and system configuration (5+ years experience)
• Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, and Extron platforms
• Network AV and video conferencing systems
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics under time-sensitive conditions
• Blueprint interpretation and technical documentation
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Team leadership and project management
