About this role
AGE Solutions seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to embed cybersecurity expertise into Agile development and CI/CD pipelines for U.S. government, defense, and intelligence clients. The role focuses on shifting security left, implementing automated testing, and translating compliance frameworks into actionable development tasks across legacy, modernized, and cloud-native applications.
What you'll do
- Integrate cybersecurity requirements and controls into Agile SDLC and CI/CD pipelines to identify vulnerabilities early
- Implement and support automated security testing within development workflows and shift-left practices
- Translate RMF, NIST SP 800-53, DoD policy, STIGs, and SRGs into specific engineering and development tasks
- Provide threat-informed security guidance for APIs, microservices, containerized workloads, and modern architectures
- Collaborate with development teams, architects, and ISSMs/ISSOs to design and implement technical security controls
- Communicate security findings, technical risks, and remediation recommendations to technical and Government stakeholders
