Java Automation Engineer

About this role

Agile Defense seeks a Java Automation Engineer to support a national security program protecting US transportation infrastructure. The role involves developing and maintaining automation solutions within an Agile team environment, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to meet demanding performance and availability standards.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Java-based automation solutions for transportation security risk assessments
• Collaborate with Agile team members to design and implement features meeting high availability requirements
• Manage assigned tasks and deadlines independently while meeting demanding response time standards
• Contribute to code reviews and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Support integration of automation solutions within large-scale federal IT infrastructure
• Communicate technical information effectively to cross-functional teams
