Fullstack Engineer

About this role

Agile Six seeks an experienced Fullstack Engineer to join a cross-functional team modernizing the VA's appointment scheduling system for veterans. You'll develop full-stack features using Ruby on Rails and React while collaborating with federal partners to deliver intuitive, accessible digital experiences that impact millions of users.

What you'll do

• Build backend APIs and frontend components using Ruby on Rails, React, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with teammates to identify requirements, solve technical challenges, and troubleshoot production issues
• Conduct code reviews and pair programming to strengthen team skills and code quality
• Apply design patterns and architectural best practices to maintain system quality and scalability
• Communicate across technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on veteran-focused solutions
• Leverage AI-powered development tools while maintaining oversight and quality standards
