About this role
Join Agility's mechanical engineering team to design and develop the next generation of Digit humanoid robots deployed in warehouses and manufacturing facilities. You'll own electromechanical components and assemblies, collaborating across disciplines to create reliable, robust designs for demanding commercial environments.
What you'll do
- Design and prototype 3D and 2D electromechanical components and subassemblies
- Perform structural, thermal, and engineering analyses to validate design decisions
- Collaborate with electrical, software, industrial design, and manufacturing teams on requirements and concepts
- Support root cause investigations and implement improvements to enhance robot robustness
- Lead cross-functional design reviews and maintain comprehensive design documentation
- Track progress using Jira and Confluence while managing budgets and schedules
