Backend and Infra Engineer

About this role

Aida, a stealth-mode B2B enterprise AI startup founded by former leaders from Glean and Apple, seeks an experienced Backend and Infra Engineer to build and maintain scalable systems. You'll work with a 20-person team in Palo Alto designing AI assistants for enterprise roles in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement backend systems using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and other languages
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure with containerization and infrastructure-as-code
• Architect scalable databases using SQL and NoSQL solutions
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability systems
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
• Ensure network security and optimize system performance
