Engineer in Residence: Live Selling Copilot

About this role

Design and build an AI copilot system that supports live commerce hosts by automating backend operations like chat management, inventory tracking, and post-show tasks. This role focuses on keeping sellers focused on audience engagement while AI handles the operational complexity of running a live selling show.

What you'll do

• Develop AI features for live commerce operations (chat management, inventory handling, listing pacing)
• Design the copilot interface to keep hosts in the spotlight while automating backstage work
• Research and solve live selling operational pain points through user feedback
• Build automation for post-show follow-up and audience engagement tasks
• Collaborate with live commerce sellers to refine the product experience
• Iterate on AI capabilities to reduce host cognitive load during broadcasts
