Backend Engineer

Air Apps, a self-funded AI company with 100M+ downloads, is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and maintain scalable server-side systems for their AI-powered resource planning platform. You'll collaborate across teams to build APIs, optimize databases, and ensure system reliability while supporting rapid global growth.

What you'll do

• Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and server-side logic
• Collaborate on database schema design, query optimization, and data modeling
• Build scalable solutions handling millions of users with optimized performance
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and encryption
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; troubleshoot production issues
