Backend QA Engineer

Air Apps, an AI-driven resource planning company, is seeking a Backend QA Engineer for their Lisbon office to ensure reliability and performance of backend systems. You'll test APIs, databases, and services while collaborating with engineering teams to maintain quality standards across infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and execute tests for APIs, databases, and service integrations
• Validate API functionality and performance using tools like Postman and Swagger
• Test database operations, queries, and data integrity in PostgreSQL systems
• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services
• Review pull requests and backend infrastructure for quality and reliability issues
• Document defects and test results using test management tools
