Backend QA Engineer

About this role

Air Apps seeks a Backend QA Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of their AI-powered resource planning platform. You'll test APIs, databases, and backend services while collaborating with engineering teams to maintain high quality standards across their infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and execute tests for APIs, databases, and service integrations
• Validate API functionality and performance using tools like Postman and Swagger
• Test database operations, queries, and data integrity in PostgreSQL systems
• Collaborate with engineers on code reviews to ensure quality and test coverage
• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services
• Document defects and test results using test management tools
