Backend QA Engineer, Madrid

About this role

Air Apps seeks a Backend QA Engineer in Lisbon to test and validate APIs, databases, and backend services while collaborating with engineering teams. What you'll do

• Design and execute tests for APIs, databases, and service integrations
• Validate API functionality and performance using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• Test database operations, queries, and data integrity in PostgreSQL systems
• Collaborate with engineers on pull request reviews and code quality assessment
• Develop and maintain automated tests for backend services
• Document defects and test cases using test management tools like TestRail
